On Saturday I was supposed to be working from 10-6. At about 2.45 I felt a whisper telling me to go home.
I’ve learned to be obedient in that sort of situation, so I went home. Fortunately my boss is also my father-in-law and I’m on a zero hours contact.
When I got home I was straight away aware of why I needed to be at home – next doors rabbit had escaped and had chewed a hole in our fence and was hopping happily around our garden.
I spent the next hour and a half in the garden, in the cold, looking after said rabbit- trying to prevent her from going further down the street!
A couple of minutes before my neighbour’s got back she hopped back into her garden and into her hutch, as if nothing had happened. I let my neighbour know of her rabbits adventure and they secured her hutch and patched up the fence!
It was fun and games on a Saturday afternoon and much better than work!
