On Sunday I wrote this blog: Keys.
Since then I have spent ages painting the image in my mind.
Here it is:
I’m not entirely happy with it, but it’s good enough. I used acrylics and black pen on canvas board.
I always feel at my most vulnerable (creatively and emotionally speaking) when I’ve painted something for God. Prophetic art, at least for me, is very draining – spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. I get tired much quicker and need much more rest and relaxation time than after most other things. I suppose it’s similar to taking a church service, which I’ve only got limited experience in. My pastor calls it a post-adrenaline dip.
So, now, I’m going to go and paint something relaxing to refresh my energy levels.
