‘”I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.” I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, Lord, as you know. I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help. I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness from the great assembly.” (Psalm 40: 8-10 NIV)

When deciding how to move my business forward the word that kept coming back to me was ‘faithful’.

Some who have been following my story for a while will know that this blog started during a time when I was very poorly emotionally. I used writing, art, and photography as a way of aiding my recovery. It was also during that time that I was most aware of God’s faithfulness to me.

After about a year of writing faithfully on this blog, I felt prompted to turn the blog name into a business. So, I formed a business Morning Coffee With Abba Ltd. It went well and grew to a level that I could have never imagined. I remained faithful to following His lead and His prompting, even when it didn’t make sense or was scary. Over the years things have grown and changed. Initially I had various trading names (which also changed and developed over time). For example, Hannah Kirk Art changed to Faithful Brushstrokes, and Hannah Kirk Photography changed to Faithful Snapshots.

During lockdown my circumstances changed. The job in the travel industry was no longer secure, so I took the opportunity to follow Jesus into the unknown and grow and develop my business yet again. God put me in touch with people who would mentor me, which has been a huge blessing. I now have mentors for every area of business. So, I can now announce that my business has had a change of name to Yours Faithfully, Hannah Kirk Ltd. That way I don’t need all of the different trading names but rather they will be all under one roof and all on one website (coming November 2020).

So, I’ll still be ‘developing a life of hope, freedom and recovery… through art, writing and photography’ but in a way where ‘we grow together’.
